About Mark Styles – Athlete & Coach

I’m Mark Styles, a dedicated endurance athlete and experienced coach with a passion for helping others achieve their best. Since 2008, I have been competing in marathons and Ironman events across the globe, challenging myself at the highest levels of endurance sports.

I’ve raced in some of the world’s most prestigious events, including the New York Marathon, Ironman Kona World Championships, 70.3 World Championship races in South Africa and Nice, and the Sprint World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand. About Mark Styles – Athlete & Coach Through years of competition, I have gained first-hand experience in the demands of endurance racing, from long-distance triathlons to high-performance running.

Beyond my personal achievements, I take great pride in coaching athletes of all levels. With nearly 20 years of coaching experience, I have guided runners and triathletes to their personal bests—including helping my wife achieve an incredible 2:37 marathon time. My expertise extends from beginners aiming for their first race to elite athletes striving for podium finishes.

I hold a Sports Science degree and a comprehensive range of coaching qualifications, including certifications from Triathlon and England Athletics. My approach combines scientific training principles with real-world experience to create personalized, structured, and effective training plans tailored to each athlete’s needs.

Whether you’re looking to complete your first endurance event or improve your performance at the highest level, I’m here to provide expert guidance, support, and motivation every step of the way.
